Seems Alex Lambert fans have been HAD! We wanted more of him, yes we did! We finally got it with him entering the dream house and 24/7 ALEX, YIPPEEE....but it comes with a price!

No one mentioned that to view personal areas will require a subscription fee. Public access is free. No one ever uttered the words, SUBSCRIPTION FEE! From the articles I have read there is not yet a fee, but you can bet that Simon Fuller has his eye on the money bags as each of us enter into his world of "IF I CAN DREAM" as we watch Alex. Do I think it is a great experience for him, well...maybe. I will say its better than nothing. Regardless of what the "protesters" have been posting on the net about how he will gain exposure, learn, write and be mentored by greats, geez that sounds like a perfect world...can we all sign up. But beleive me "nothing is free" and reality is reality!

Now just how much is this going to cost? Did those who had ties with the petition and other outlets urging us to get him on the show know this? If so are they receiving some sort of "enhancement" or fringe benefit?

Just when you thought you could lounge on the couch and watch Alex's every move....BLAM....not!

Many of you know that I was lucky enough to get to see Bucky Covington at the Acerage Fall Festival last night. Fantastic show! Bucky was once again in rare form and had the crowd eating out of his hands. So happy that I went, even though it was a very late night for me. It was worth it. Today was a long day at work! I wanted to capture some of the songs that I did not yet have of Bucky live. "Hold A Woman" I was bound and determined to get it...well I did...but wasn't thinking...started out side ways! It was so good I had to upload. It will be in 2 different parts but it is worth it. If you are viewing from a laptop or mobile device...its not sideways!

If you were one of the lucky Buckaneers that attended Bucky Covington's first annual fan club party in Nashville, You were one lucky FAN. I had to miss it due to family issues due to health problems with my Mother I was not one of the lucky ones, but thanks to Y'all Wire and Music City Network I felt like I was up close and personal. They offered the fan club party concert live via the internet and talk about exciting for a faithful Bucky Covington fan, that had to miss the occassion. It was in June and I remember sitting here with a smile from ear to ear as I was captivated by Bucky's performance. The sound was fabulous and the thought of watching it live was over the top! It was a great thing to do for us fans. Well the entire concert was available to view over and over at BCO and Y'all Wire. I decided to go and watch it this morning and to my shocking surprise, it is still there, but it has been edited with inserts of Bucky talking about the upcoming CD and of course thanking his fans over and over. This man just draws you in becuase of his "hometown" attitude and genuine compassion. So sit back, get your coffee and watch this 40 minute video of the fan club party. Gotta give props to Winnie over at Buckymania for always being up to date, minute, second on the Bucky news! What did we do without her??? So glad she is back and dishing out the "dirt" for us!
I clicked on her link to my site and noticed ERRORS on my entry yesterday. Why...well let me explain a little something.
I think I have "CRS" or "ADD" or heck maybe it's just old age...but I always put things off till the last minute...or maybe I just forget about something and then rush to complete. That is me..thats the way I roll. I have so many things running through my head at once, I seem to have a problem picking out the important ones. Maybe that is because I have a creative mind, who knows. So on future post on this blog, you may see errors in spelling, graphics and just missing things. Forgive me thats the way my mind works, and many times...I am trying to sneak a update from work on my 60 mins of computer time.

We Bucky Covington have been living on cloud nine the last few days because we got our dose of "New Bucky" with the release of his new video. The current single entitles "Gotta Be Somebody" was released a about a week ago...WE LOVED IT and could not wait to the music video that was filmed in Rockingham. The video is fantastic, just one complaint, they did not show the energy that Bucky gives at his shows. They didn't show those back and forth stage moves, the slides, the full on power house he is when he performs. So with that being said, watch the real Bucky Covington.

If you haven't heard Bucky Covington has a brand new single out titled "Gotta be somebody" and if the name of the song sounds fimilar, it was a top 10 hit on the rock charts for Nickleback.
There seems to be mixed reviews when you mention the single. Some think you could never take a Nickleback song and make it country, but Bucky did and it "rocks.."
I cringed when I heard about the single, but I was delightfully surprised when I heard it. I love it! Do I love it because I am such a big Bucky fan, no. I love it because it sounds amazing. Now with the video release, it just adds a cherry on top!
Well we all need to call our local radio stations and start "bugging the crap" outta of the DJs and view the video as many times as possible so we can finally get Bucky his number 1, and this song just might be the one.

Real quick this morning. First let me say sorry I have not been up to date on the blog. Most of you know that I have had some family issues and lost my Mother to cancer on Aug 28th, so things have not been good. Thank you all for your prayers. I sure needed all I could get. Being gone from home for almost a month over a two month period, things have gotten out of whack. So as I make my way back to "normal" I hope to update my blog regularly.

Tonight I needed to make my creative juices flow and came up with this. This is a small version and hope to get the fullsize uploaded later for those interested in using as a screen saver or myspace background.

I feel terrible that I have been neglecting my Bucky Covington. I have had so much going on with life these past few weeks. I wonder if anyone noticed? I try and do a little Bucky promoting on twitter or facebook when I can, and of course I always mention Bucky to new aquaintances or long lost cousins, and that came into play with my trip to Ohio.
While searching the net tonight I stumbled across this video of Bucky. It is short but it is sweet, watch part 1 and part 2.

I have loved Michael Jackson forever. I've sang, danced and cried to his music. It wasn't until his passing that I started watching youtube and all the interviews Michael did with various interviewers. After all the videos and interviews I now know that Michael Jackson was the most misunderstood man. He was robbed of his childhood from the age of 5 and was treated like a animal by his father. He longed to be a child and cried as he watched other children play from the windows of the Motown studio. Michael told stories of being beat by his father. His Father later confirmed he "whipped" Michael but only with belts and switches...he never beat him, because beating would be with a stick he claimed. Take a listen to the innocent voice of a man who made history and lived a tragic life.

One of the most indepth interviews I wish everyone would watch and listen to his words. He too had a heart and his feeling were hurt over and over.

Everyone loves when Bucky and Rocky Covington hit the stage and start out with Willie Nelson's "Seven Spanish Angels" because they hit it outta the park! I've been asked by several people if there was anyway I might be able to capture it. I finally caught it! I have been working on a way to make it work here. A week or so ago I added it as a file on the blog as a surprise for my readers and that didnt work so well. So back to the drawing board and by golly I think it works. It took me some time to figure it all out, and it might be the best version to date. I guess all the tinkering with the bass and all the other functions that I screwed with was right on. You will hear a little muffled sound during Rocky's part and that is the way it came out and I have not tried to fix that part.

So Just hang tight and open your ears and your heart will smile. Please leave me a comment if you like or not....maybe I will add some other rare things I've gotten hidden.

Gotta love that FLCathy and all the work she puts into getting these wonderful videos to us. If you've never experienced the "video world" you have no idea what does into getting these back to us. First off you miss the show...because your so wrapped up in getting great videos. Then after the event you loose sleep because you have to watch them that night (yep) and then you have to find time out of your busy schedule to upload to oneor two of the sites to make them available to the fans. It is a lot of work so blowing kisses out to you FLCathy! I appreciate your dedication!

"Holding her and loving you" by Earl Thomas Conley. Did you know Bucky Covington thinks that is one of the greatest country songs ever written. I have always loved that song also. Some of the younger fans may not remember, or for that case ever heard it so here is a video with the song. Now the DJ was kidding Bucky about remaking it and boy I would be very happy about that one.

Bucky also tells the dj's about remaking the Commodores song "Sail On" and I cant wait for that one. If you remember a while back when it was orginally "leaked" that Bucky Covington would be remaking a Commodores song, I posted three that I though suited him fine, and Sail on was one. Old Skool Soul gets a little twang and I cant wait. If it sounds half as good as the remake Bucky did of the Phil collins song "You'll be in my heart" for the Disney goes Country cd, it's going to be a hit!

If your interested in the little blurb pop song Bucky sang with the mandolin it is called "The world should revolve around me" it was my first time ever hearing it and had to do a little research with the little lyrics provided. Last night as I watched the American Idol finale and heard the guitar of Carlos Santana I was drawn in by the music and thought this will be one of my favorites from the finale. I have to say if I were a patron in Pigeon Forge Tennessee on Saturday and ran into Bucky Covington, I would thought that I had died and gone to heaven! It seems he was doing a taping with GAC in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. One of my favorite places ever to visit, love the mountains and the bears!

Bucky also ran into several true fans that got word that he would be in the area and Norma captured Bucky and a south america racoon. Norma thanks for the use of the picture.

Now lets hope the local in the are calling their radio station and requesting his new single "I want my life back" and bugging the crap outta the DJ's

I am not a tree hugger and rarely think about my actions and how my carbon footprint is affecting our earth. With today being Earth day everyone and their brother is giving tips on becoming more green. Now I have made a few changes like trading regular light bulbs to daylight fluorescent bulbs and I have unplugged things we rarely use. Some of that is due to the cost of electricity along with being green. My next project a programmable thermostat. So to keep up with the Jones' and to celebrate earth day it has made me more aware of little things we can do.

So you want to make a difference on this Earth day? I have a very simple and easy way to make your mark on Earth day 2009.

I know what your thinking, nothing is simple but I am here to tell you this one is so simple you may think about doing it a few times.

Call your local radio station and ask them to play Bucky Covington's newest single "I want my life back" simple right.

How is this going green?

The more they play the song, the higher up the charts it will go the more people will hear it and WANT TO DOWNLOAD IT and will peak the interest of the upcoming sophmore CD due out in September which will equal more GREEN in Bucky's pocket. Well it's finally the official release date of "I want my life back" by Bucky Covington. I am sure Bucky is all smiles to day with the official release. Once again I am extremely confused! Official release, ummmm. What exactly does that mean? I thought today would be the day we could legally obtain the single from one or two of the digital sales sites.
I went to I-tunes, with password in hand to download the single. NOT there, what?
I thought maybe the song will be an exclusive with Wal-mart and checked their site, Nothing. Ok what's going on...OFFICIAL RELEASE. I thought well let's check with amazon and nothing there. I am PISSED! What's going on?

A few days ago I expressed my opinion about the release to radio and how the song is out on numerous FREE DOWNLOAD SITES. OK it happens I guess, or at least that is what one of the bootleggers responded back with via twitter. I got over that after a few hours of steaming! I came to the conclusion that in a few days everyone will be able to get it legally. Boy was I wrong. I guess THE POWERS TO BE really don't care...or they would have had their ducks in a row and the legal download would be available to fans. I am just baffled by the promotions of this new single. Maybe the song was relased on a single CD and shipped to stores. I am not sure about that but if anyone out there finds a way for us to purchase this song please let us all know!

Starting out the morning by throwing the confetti and doing a little Bucky sidewards slide with a ump ump! Why am I so excited? What rodeo? For those that stopped by yesterday, one of the post "cattle proded" you into going over to the digital rodeo site to sign up and show Bucky Covington a little love. I really meant let's show him alot of love! Well it seems that my little blog here got the attention of John, from Digital Rodeo. Now I am not sure if John is the main cattle rustler or one of the bull riders, but it appears he might have some connections in the Music world. He left a very nice comment for me.

That made me feel pretty good! Not sure how fast this will happen, but I am having visions of Bucky and chaps. Some of you know what I am talking about...those naughty girls that dream of Bucky in Chaps and write of it often over at the big house! I found Bucky Covington's new song "I want my life back" posted on youtube. Struggling with should I post it here or not.

My thoughts on this...why not post here? This blog dedicated entirely to Bucky Covington. If they can't get the Bucky scoop here (sometimes a little off the wall stuff) they will get somewhere else. Nothing stopping those sneaky rat *astar%s that are doing things illegally.

I still do not understand why Lyric Street is holding off releasing the song to Itunes, or any other music site that makes it legal for us to download the song. I have said it a million times.

If there is a demand....they will get it and right now they have it!

The problem with getting it now, is that it is being offered through sites that are doing it for free.

WAKE up someone. If you want to make money...make it from day one! Dont tease these radio and record people and offer the song for "listen" only, it gets out there for free.
Why not make the offical release date, just that...THE OFFICAL RELEASE TO EVERYONE, SO you can make the money for these artist that are busting their asses night after night?
Be smart...dont release one single to itunes, release as many as you have ready. Why one, why not 3, 4 or 5 at once. Give the "listeners" the "buyers" the "fans" the chance to make 3, 4, or 5 chart at once.
All I have left to say, RECORD PEEPS.....YOU ARE LOOSING MONEY BY RELEASING FOR RADIO TO PEEK THEIR INTEREST, BECAUSE THE SONGS ARE GETTING OUT THERE FOR FREE.

Hell I want Bucky to live a comfortable life, I do not want him to have to work his tail off for the 30 years...I want him to hit easy street somewhere down the road!

Interesting fact ahout Theory of a Deadman

Chad Kroeger of NICKLEBACK, (one of Bucky's favorite bands) was instrumental in the success of Theory of a Deadman. Tyler Connolly, frontman of Theory of a Deadman, has Kroeger to thank for just about everything. Before Nickelback were rock stars, Connolly was a struggling musician without a band, manager or record deal and with only a pipe dream of ever being recognized outside his hometown of Vancouver, Canada. Then one night at a party Connolly handed a demo tape to Kroeger, which led to an enthusiastic call from the burgeoning musician, who wanted to produce Theory. And when Kroeger decided to launch his own label, 604 Records, he recruited Theory of a Deadman as his first signing and produced their self-titled debut record.

I finally said no and it hurt, but I am still a buckaneer for Bucky Covington

Evenually the time would come and I would say NO. Most know that I love doing computer graphics and working with amazing pictures of Bucky Covington drives me to "sometimes" greatness. Over the last few years I have improved and tweeked my craft.

Thinking back to 2006 when I started my Bucky Covington obsession, I also filled my craving for another obsession, computer graphics. It had been almost 2 years back in 2004 since I picked up a mouse to create something pretty. Long story, computer updates, crashes, new computer, old computer program called Micrografx. For the life of me everytime I attempted to load Micrografx into my new "media" computer it caused a conflict and crashed. After many attempts to make it work with this new shiny flatscreen monster that did everything from recording TV, audio, making dvd's, editing videos to the simplest of sending emails I could not get Micrografx to work on the new operating system. I was busy learning about the other great things this baby could do, and soon forgot about my old lover "micrografx". Well Bucky came along and a "easy" graphics program called Photo impressions was already inside the new computer waiting for me to learn and start experiementing with it. Two years away from something you love, makes you obsess over it when it comes back, right.

Well that I did and using Bucky Covington photos gave me more passion about my craft. Both obession all rolled into one, a win win situation. As I look back over some of my earlier Bucky graphics I am a little embarrased because I thought they were great, boy how I have improved! Christmas 2007 was the best.
Who would have thought something old would be so treasured. You see my DH (dear husband for those who wonder) bought an old computer and had all my Micrografx programs loaded in. Micrografx Picture Publisher all versions that I have, Simply 3D, flowcharter, media manager and another I had bought along the way Microsoft Digital image suite. You will never know how much that old stuff meant to me, DH did! Then it was back to relearning how to caress this old love of graphics. Learning something new each and every day.

Over the last 3 years I have created at least 500 promo graphics for Bucky Covington. You may have seen some, if not feel free to browse one of my photobucket accounts that contains about one forth of them. Some of my earlier things, were never actually saved because I used a "temporary" storage site on line and never created an account. Kicking myself for that one! With each milestone that Bucky achieved, I created it with a graphic.

So a few days ago I was asked by a fellow Bucky fan to create something like I did for "Good to be us" and "I'll walk". Very simple I create it, upload it, give a link and all the fans can view and print from home and pass out at their next Bucky Covington concert. Long story short, I said no and it hurt!
Back up a few days, it was pointed out that 'some' felt that maybe I started the visual promotions for the new single "I want my life back" too early.

I guess that will be seen. Waiting for it to hit number one and I can stand up and "NA NA NA NA I told you so" but until that time I will have to wait in the wings and watch others take the lead.

I get over things pretty quickly and have always been a leader and not a follower, so this may be hard for me to sit back and relax! But I have vowed to myself that I will! I am not saying that everything has stopped, but the days of feeling urged and rushed to get something out there for the sake of "Promoting Bucky" is a little further down on my priority list right now. I recieved many emails thanking me for all that I have done! One stated Bucky will always need you "You are the most creative force on the board" and I just want to offically thank each and everyone that felt the need to affirm my worth! Thank you, it means so much coming from all of you!

Yesterday was a fun filled day for Bucky Covington and his twin brother Rocky and other country music artist as they joined in for the Craig Morgan Charity Ride & concert. What a way to spend a day, rain or not the events included the Motocross & ATV Ride with an acoustic concert. The concert featured Craig Morgan, Bucky Covington, Blake Shelton, James Otto, Jason Michael Carroll, Kellie Pickler and more!

If that wasnt enough for you how about professional motocross riders Andrew Short, Kevin Windham, Destrey Abbott, Fred Andrews, and Barry Hawk. The Craig Morgan fund benefits several local and national youth-based charities.

Craig grew up around Dickson and lives there now. Craig said "this event is a fun way to get people together to raise money and awareness to help kids who really need it.”

Sounds like a great cause and a great time. Gotta show some love for Danna another Bucky fan family member that posted just a little clip of Bucky and Rocky on the bikes. She also posted one of the funniest Blake Shelton "unplugged" moments ever, from the same acoustical event! He wrote a heartfelt poem about Craig Morgan. This video contains adult language! After you watch the video, dry your eyes and catch your breath and hold on for more the event was a sell out! So here's just a bit to wet your whistle. Oh yea, Damn Blake Shelton is hot!

You know I've been around since the beginning with Bucky Covington. I have priceless treasures of the early days of photos, interviews, emails and you name it. I won't mention how I acquired this interview, let's just say it came from a "Old friend way back in secret times" and this a classic. I would give the radio station proper credit for this entertaining interview, but I have no idea who it is. I should have listened to the entire 10 minute interview today, but I found what I was looking for and rushed to upload and share. I have to say we love Rocky Covington, and if it came down a ass kicking, I think both Rocky and Bucky can hold their own. For the record I could not imagine either of those two fighting, but this is one funny snipet! Enjoy!

A little play on words, but for those who are true Bucky Covington fans know the name of the new single that is due out sometime, who really knows. I want my life back will touch each and every person that will ever hear the sweet words sang by Bucky Covington. Seems turmoil and conflict are a way of life these days. People losing their homes, jobs and money. We think "what's this world coming to" and pray that things get better. Everyone wants something back. More days with a love one, fun times on a fan club board, the happier times when things were good. Boy wouldn't that be nice, happier times when things were good.
As I write this, I think I want my life back. I wonder if the stresses of a fan club is really worth the aggravation. So many want to be "Queen" and offer little or nothing to the daily grind. Over the last three years I have learned alot about music, sales, charts, friendships and of course fake people. I know more about the industry than a normal person should. Do I consider it to be obsessive, maybe, but it is also fascinating to me. I've seen first hand how the Internet can build an empire, just ask Taylor Swift. I've read interesting articles of program directors who think they are God, articles of payola, and stats on spins and clicks that will make your head spin.
The most important article that I have read recently was that no one knows what not only the economy, but the Internet will do with record sales. You see we are now in the twenty first century and vinyl records are a thing of the past. Selling a tangible item that plays great music is almost extinct. The digital age is here and most record companies and promoting executives are scratching their head wondering what move will advance an artist career. The young fans want digital, but along the way, us old fans are also gaining respect for the digital age. Now not only does a spin on the radio count for something, but a click on the computer means so much more. Stats and clicks are the important ones these days. Promoting an artist in this day and time takes a savvy mind with lots of computer skills. You can reach thousands of people in a single day with the net, try that by phone or handbill. The Internet and digital downloads are here to stay and only those savvy executives that "get it" will make an advancement on a artist career.

Looking back at Bucky Covington's first debut album, it had, in my honest opinion 6 great songs. Two of those made it to top 10 and one to top 5. Three others just "sat there" and were never given a listen because "they" didn't release them as a singles. When I say "they" just who in the hell "they" are baffles me. "They".... are those the people who are scratching their heads trying to figure out the digital music industry. They seem to still be in the dark age about sales and inquiring how many CD's Walmart and Target has in stock. Wake up people, it is not only about units sold anymore. It's a full package of old and new. Get it, some say requesting to your local station is important. As you look at cutbacks and job losses it effects everyone in some way. Remember that DJ you had a friendly relationship with last time around, don't be surprised if he hasn't been let go and replaced by a younger more computer savvy, lower paid snot nose or a pre-recorded version of CMT something. Most of these stations are now running on a skeleton staff, and honestly we will be lucky if they have someone to answer the phone for a request. Today's radio is suffering big time because the average person listens less because they have ipods that plug into their cars. Why listen to something on the radio you hate, when you can plug in the ipod and play your favorites. Ask yourself, when was the last time you actually listened to a local radio station? I can't tell you the last time I did, I have XM and ipods. My Itunes library contains 2900 songs, and most were songs from OLD CD's or songs downloaded from Itunes. The last CD I bought was Bucky (several) but anything new, I am going to go to Itunes and purchase it because I want it NOW! I have songs that I purchased because of myspace, or hearing them from Pandora. Ever heard of Mingo Fishtrap? I stumbled on them from myspace

How about Theory of a deadman? Another great find on myspace.

Interesting thing about Theory of a Deadman they are now being played on the radio, and Bad Girlfriend was a number #1, but it took people hearing them on myspace to get the exposure to get them to radio.

The point that I am trying to make is that some people flew off the handle by one thread where people expressed their opinions and it turned nasty. I have invested too much time into seeing Bucky soar. Regardless of what you may think, everyone has a right to their opinion, and their 20 dollar membership fee gives them the freedom to post on every thread. I must have missed the announcement that stated "for an additional fee you can be queen of the fan club" and I wonder how much extra did that cost?
Most are there daily to see Bucky succeed and for some to get irate because we have opinions. Well this is how I see it, Bucky had 2 number ones on his debut CD.....neither made it to number 1. We questioned why there was not a video for "I'll Walk" that one still baffles me. Should we really listen to those scratching their heads trying to figure out the industry now. We did last time and we are still waiting for Bucky's #1. I feel that we have been left on the side of the road like a old Cadillac with 2 flat tires waiting to be rescued.

Oh and one last thing, if Bucky said call the radio stations and bug the crap out of them....well then we need to listen to him and stop listening to those who are not in the industry!

Oh my what can I say. In the world of Buckyland today shit hit the fan, or should I say all the Queens came to court. You see on the offical Bucky Covington fan site we have a bunch of people that LOVE and I mean LOVE BUCKY Covington. Most are fans because they genuinely care for him and want to see his career flourish. Then we have others who flaunt their fan club card like a Octumom flaunts her babies. I have so much to say but wanted to update those "faithful" fans who are dying to see what soapbox I am going to stand on as I give my 2 cents. Check back later!

A little Bucky Covington, Hannah Montana, Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift

The countdown is on for the release of the Hannah Montana movie. I have to admit that I am a little excited about it. I have never been an fan, but watching the the promos for any glimpse of Bucky Covington I have found myself intrigued. Tonight I found the behind the scenes to the movie and soundtrack. There are two parts to the video. Like all the other videos you have to watch real close to see Bucky. The part of Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift are great! I think Billy Ray is a genuine down home person and he has aged gracefully. Now I must get to work on my "Hoedown Throwdown" and see if this old body can pop it and lock it.
